“Half City Half Country”
“Half City Half Country”
Alison Sewell is a proud, sixth-generation Texan whose German immigrant ancestors arrived in Galveston in the 1800's and settled the town of Tomball. Alison has a long line of Houstonian family members that grew up in the historic neighborhoods in the shadows of downtown Houston, known as The Heights, a city she will always call home. Living her dream of a city girl and a country girl, Alison splits her time between a bungalow in The Houston Heights and a horse farm in Waller, TX. A place she also calls home.
A position in residential high-rise building development with The Hanover Company began Alison's career in real estate. From there she moved into on-site residential high-rise sales, and sold for many independent inner city builders while working at Top Producing firms. Alison then transitioned to single-family home sales as a new-home sales consultant for some of the cities most respected homebuilders. Alison has been practicing real estate since 2002 and has an extensive knowledge of the re-sale market in and around Houston, but also new construction developer consulting and sales, has a passion for historical renovation projects, and equestrian properties and land and ranch sales.
She has dedicated many hours to SIRE, Houston's Therapeutic Equestrian Center, serves on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Cutting Horse Committee, supports the American Quarter Horse Association, and is a member and competitor in the National Cutting Horse Association, A member of The Ranchers Ride and the Saltgrass Trail Ride Association's award-winning Wagon 13 The Desperados since 2010.
