Built in early 1900's as Southern Pacific Railroad office building and continued as that until the 1970's. Building features 24/7 concierge, full gym, rooftop deck with splash pool and more! As you walk through lobby, you will notice more historic details like paneled walls and the original mailbox on left wall. First floor also houses the gym.

Recently added Mural to Downtown Houston, can be seen from the windows of 7A at Bayou Lofts. Artist is Victor Ash. This is recognizing Sefronia Thompson, who is serving her 25th term in the Texas Legislature. 
Information on all murals came from the Houston Downtown Management district. Artist on this one is Victor Ash. "Lady Justice mural represents peace, justice..." to signify social change. 
On the Travis St side of Bayou Lofts is a Neo cubist style mural by Belin.es. "Quality Education for All." This is drawn in one continuous line - two girls from different backgrounds united over their love for learning.
On the west side of the Cotton Exchange building is another new mural painted by Ana Marietta "Sharing the world" "Ode to Houston's diversity & international influence. The wings around people of different ethnicities represents a flight to the future together."
Mural is painted by Lula Goce. "La Shamana", "celebrates Houston as an innovation hub. This is dedicated to Dr Maria Elena Bottazzi who was part of the team who developed the free patent "Worlds COVID-19 Vaccine". Also dedicated to all women of science.
