What do you tell a buyer when the survey shows that the HOA fence is 8 feet inside their property line?


I would think it would be something that the new buyer is going to have to take up with the HOA. If it is just like that on this one property (versus the whole street for example) I would assume you would have a better chance in getting the HOA to resolve more...Posted 9 years ago

If the survey from the seller''s is incorrect, how can it be corrected, so the buyer will not pay taxes on the property they do not own?


If the survey is incorrect a new survey will have to be ordered. If the survey is correct the homeowner will need to protest their property taxes and use their survey as proof of land size. Posted 9 years ago
